I liked the driftwood parallel because if anything in nature has a story to tell, it would be driftwood. Beautifully thought-provoking work with, as mentioned earlier, a Yin and Yang of its own.

very honored, as many times, by your kind comment....watching your gallery, i enjoyed the pictures from the places you had visited...i'm seeing you as very connected in "realism'...how come you have this approach toward surreal and abstract?...(not necessary toward my works, but in general)....thanks...

You're welcome. Products of imagination are often regarded as surreal or abstract although nature abounds with similarities narrowing that separation to something called visionary. As much as I might see alien technology eroding from fossilized layers of sediment in some of your works, I have seen realities bordering the surreal. A fiery military plane crash in snowy altitudes melted aluminum that dripped into ice and snow and formed odd shapes resembling inverted jelly fish. Those bizarre, helmeted aliens (frozen mobiles) were scattered across the crash site. Oddity: when lightning strikes sand dunes, it fuses sand into "roses". My connection to realism is separated from the surreal by only the degree of discovery.

I found this in Scheinbar's news feature. Unusually, I 'hearted' the whole feature because it's based on my favourite DOORS song of all time, When The Music's Over [link] . This link is to the 'definitive' studio recorded LP version. "A feast of friends, 'Alive!' she cried; waiting for me... OUTSIDE!"

I really like this picture. It blends naturalism, abstraction and surrealism perfectly. "What have they done to the earth? What have they done to our fair sister?..."
