you would be surprised to see that i'm not doing fractals at all.......this is a combination between traditional and experimental photo.......thanx anyway, glad you like it
I totally realise that. Yet nature IS fractal. Or the other way around, fractal formulas can describe the natural. Or wait, you already knew this right!?!? hehe
i don't know anything about fractals......i appreciate all details.....fractals are kind of synthetic images for me but they are interesting and i think the artists creating this type of art have so much imagination and creativity...
As I admire those using more traditional techniques! I used to draw and photograph more...
Amongst fractal generators, those being produced with 3D generators are the most interesting to me lately. Some of them look very organic though. When you have a chance, do a dA search on 'mandelbulb' and see what you might find!
i see a little face toward the middle. it looks like aged drift wood or a decrepit wooden wall that you can peek over to see the ocean and the horizon. it also looks like geological strata. wood and age are the main things it says to me. it seems forgotten and lost, allowed to rot.
i like things that are in bad condition and i want all my work, especially paintings, to not look perfect. if i accidently have a mark on the canvas, if i had paint on my hands while i was unwrapping it. i like seeing how i can incorporate, i guess it's my aversion to realism.
how do your concepts come about? do you write about them first and plan them? as you know, i love series!
