If I saw this before and didn't favour it then  I must have been having an off day... It reminds me strongly of something down by Tanguy or one of the other good surrealists in that vein.

it's not easy to be an original artist today.....and surreal is kind a narrow path for creativity.....this is why sometimes some works style looks familiar.....just a thought......appreciated so much for watching and comment...:)

There's surrealism and surrealism. The real movement died the death while the fifties were morphing into the sixties. Then real life became surreal a,d the Film and Madison Avenue  people took it under their wing and commercialised it remorselessly till it was moribund, banal and fultile. See Michael Balch and Wm. Burroughs' films 'Towers Open Fire' www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlQKPY… And 'Cut Ups' www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq_hzt… for surrealism's last gasp as an independent, underground, subversive art movement.

Your gallery is amazing! I've always loved art that you can lose your self in, alien landscapes inhabited by strange and wondrous beings.

I really like that this piece does not loose the character of the original photo while still taking it to a whole new level. Great job!

I'm crazy about your yellow toenails, nicely trimmed...with a hack saw.
You take an interest in the oriental ways...you dine with your sensei. The two of you gorging yourselves on double stuffed oreos. I never make promises...I farted in Walmart...right next to the elderly woman in the walker. She couldn't run.:D
