This one's a stunner. It's like dissecting a blockage in the planet's brain.

Your images, often so intricate, with worlds inside of them to discover....
This one, while still intricate in its imagery, has a flowing simplicity to it as well...beautifully done, Jon.

thanx Yvette.....aren't we artists and discoverers...if we can't find the world we dream about (not necessary the best one), we just create it with our art...isn't that wonderful?.....

i'm lovin' the texture in this piece. Also i'm getting a kind of "where's waldo" feel from it because you've got many figures hiding throughout.

good point....i'm making it a little bit complicated....can't help myself........really appreciate your comment and time to explore it....

oh i don't think it's too complicated. From an abstract view there is a solid focal point, but you give the viewer more to look at as they explore it. If anything i'd say find a way to bring the viewer's eye around the piece so they see the focus but are lead around the edges as well :P

You usually have a lot going on in your works, Jon, but you've really done it with this one. I see memories upon memories - there but not quite there - unintentionally distorted - some pleasant, some unpleasant, but all nonetheless dead events. Ghosts. There is so much to take in that I've been staring for quite a while. For some reason, though, I keep going back to the vague silhouette at the bottom. Are these his memories? So many questions. Well done!

...happy to see wonderful comments, Vic, much appreciated...as Tricia mentioned in her comment, i agree with her, is an angel head, full of light , on bottom left....and above, struggle between different memories from the future, actually, not from the past......is more like a premonition of some future events, with roots in past events.....hopefully, the angel will spare some protection and good will.........probably with your and other viewers help, we can write a fictional story based on the image.......is just a thought......but not too much time for thoughts, as the colors are calling me back to my drawing table......

I love the angel spreading her love and hope amongst the remnants of humanity preserved and waiting to be released from their agony!!

On a lighter note I notice the sweet child looking in wonder at the extinct fish and the woman pinned against the rockface!!!...Wow...so much...so exciting...and .....just wait while I enlarge it!!!:D....It's so fascinating!!!.......oh!....and a white rabbit!!

WOW Jon! At first I saw T-Rex. After looking at this for a bit I see so much more. Faces, the moon, balance, skull, umbilical cord, even censorship. I could go on. This is remarkable!
